2025 Sailing Courses at BBSC
Bantry Bay Sailing Club is a recognised Irish Sailing training centre. All courses are run to a syllabus and will be led by a trained, friendly, and qualified Irish Sailing Instructor. Each course is carefully designed to provide you with all of the skills and confidence you need to get you out on the water and enjoy sailing.
5 full day Courses are 270 euro and Taste of Sailing course is 170 euro
BBSC members get a 20 euro discount on each course. In addition, members using their own sailing dinghy on the course will get a 20 euro credit towards next year's boat storage fees to a maximum of 2 credits (40 euro).
Courses run from Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, with an hour lunch break from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
The kids minimum age is 10 years old at the time of the course.
Taste of Sailing courses are ½ day, either in the morning (from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM) or in the afternoon (From 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM). Weeks 1 & 3.
BBSC Adult courses run for 5 weeks every Wednesday (Adult Beginners) and Thursday (Adult Improver) evenings starting at 19:00.

- Adult Beginners - 5 weeks - Every Wednesday evening, 19:00, 2 hrs duration.
Starting 02 Jul (Jul 02, 09, 16, 23 & 30th). 170 euro - Adult Beginners - 5 weeks - Every Thursday evening, 19:00, 2 hrs duration.
Starting 03 Jul (Jul 03, 10, 17, 24 & 31st). 170 euro
