2023 BBSC Adult Sailing Course #1 of 6

The course objective is to introduce adults to dingy sailing in a fun and relaxed manor. The first few evenings we will ensure you learn the skills to sail in light and easy wind conditions.

The 3 week BBSC Adult Sailing Course will be held on Monday & Wednesday evenings for 3 weeks starting on Monday 3 July (July 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19 starting at 19:00)

As the weeks progress, so will your confidence in sailing with less assistance from instructors, allowing you even more opportunity to enjoy the sport.

At the end of the course, you will have developed the skills and knowledge you need in order to set up and sail the boat more effectively and in moderate conditions.Should you want to expand your sailing skills, this course will prepare you for ISA courses.As it is not an official ISA course, there is no official assessment and focus on fun. You will learn how to be safe and enjoy yourself on the water. A safety boat will be on the water at all times.
