Race briefing will commence at Bantry Bay sailing club at 10.00am. All competitors will need to sign in and supply boat name, sail number and handicap at the briefing.
The start line and finish line will be between the Abbey Slipway and the west end of Chapel Island. The race route itself is 9NM in length, there will be a 3 horn and flag start sequence, 10 minutes before,(10.50) one 5 minutes before,(10.55) and one at 11am to officially start the race, The Blue Harvester will be the official vessel on the day with several safety vessels on standby.The competitors will record their own times and handicaps on the day, times need to be logged by a race official, can all race competitors please supply their echo rating to Bantry Sailing Club at info@bantrybaysailingclub.ie.
